Summer Weight, Fall Looks
September always brings a shift in the way we dress.
The mornings feel a little crisper, fall starts to creep into our wardrobes, and suddenly we’re reaching for the plaids, layers, and timeless pieces that make this time of year feel so distinctly different.
For us, few patterns capture that feeling quite like plaid.
Rooted in British heritage, plaid has long been part of the language of classic dressing — from the countryside to the clubhouse, from traditional tailoring to modern wardrobes. It’s familiar and timeless, a pattern steeped in history, yet one that continues to feel fresh and relevant season after season.
Last week, we introduced our newest plaid in the Nikki Skirt designed to bring that heritage into the changing season.
The pattern may feel quintessentially fall, but the fabric was designed with something else in mind.
Our plaid skirt is made from a lightweight performance fabric that keeps you cool and comfortable in warmer climates, while still giving you the polished look and structure of a traditional plaid. It’s breathable, easy to wear, and made to move — proving that a fall-inspired look doesn't have to mean a heavy fabric.
Classic in inspiration. Modern in function.
It’s a combination we keep coming back to at Williams Athletic Club: taking the pieces and traditions we love and rethinking them for the modern woman.
And because one plaid style is never quite enough...
We’re continuing the story with two new pants in the same plaid you loved.
The same heritage-inspired pattern.
The same lightweight performance fabric.
Two new silhouettes designed for the season ahead.
Classic in inspiration. Modern in function.
