Fabric With a History
The Susi is crafted from premium British Millerain waxed cotton, woven and finished at a mill that has been making weatherproof cotton in the north of England for well over a century. It is the fabric behind generations of classic British outerwear, and there is a reason it has never gone out of style.
Waxed cotton does something most technical fabrics cannot. It protects you from the weather while still feeling like a natural fiber. It is water repellent and naturally wind resistant, but it breathes, which makes it practical for active days and easy to layer as conditions shift through the morning.
For fall in particular, that combination is hard to beat. Damp starts, a breeze off the back nine, a sudden change of plan. The Susi takes it in stride.
A More Feminine Silhouette
Traditional wax jackets were not designed with women in mind. The Susi was.
A cape-length silhouette gives the jacket its proportions, while a swing pleat through the back allows real movement through a swing or a long walk. Bracelet-length cuffs keep the sleeves out of the way and give the whole piece a more modern line.
